October might be a spooky month, but we’re doing our best to make incidents less scary. We released a number of updates this month that focus on two main areas:

  • Customization of how you view, track, and share incident data to suit your specific needs

  • Refreshed and fired up status pages

Let’s jump in.

Public status pages get a glow-up

Your status pages are a big deal. They represent your brand, keep your team and stakeholders in the loop, and are essential for incident communication. So, we gave them a fresh look – simple, elegant, and even with a dark mode for that personal touch.

Plus, you can now check out a 90-day view of component history for a quick overview. Groups and subgroups allow you to organize components for a clear, concise view. You can even show data collected during incidents to give users all the necessary details.

Ready to give it a go? Create a new status page in FireHydrant, or migrate your existing ones to the latest version by selecting "Enable the latest version of Status Pages" in your status page settings.

Revamped retrospective PDF export

We've spruced up our Retrospective PDF export feature, making it super user-friendly. Your retrospectives now look more organized and contain all the essential data your stakeholders need. It's all about learning and growing from each incident, and this feature will make your post-incident reviews a breeze.

Milestone table in Retrospectives

Incident timelines – they're crucial, right? We've beefed up our incident management tools with a new milestone table feature. This handy table lays out all the significant milestones within an incident. You can even choose to see time durations from the incident's start or between milestones (aka cycle time). It's like a timeline on steroids, helping you and your team understand what happened during an incident.

Time since note or update

Time is precious, especially during incidents. We've updated the "Time Since Last Note" condition to be even more versatile. It now takes into account all updates, including those from `/fh post` and `/fh update`. This is all about fine-tuning your incident response plans and saving those valuable minutes when it counts.

Saved views in Analytics

Data, data, data – it's vital for understanding your team's performance and system health. That's why we're thrilled to introduce Saved Views in Analytics. This feature lets you save your custom filters and access them in a jiffy. Plus, you can keep them private or share them with the team, keeping things neat and tidy.

View fields on Incidents page

Your incident management process is unique to your organization, right? Now you can customize what you see on the Incidents page with the new "View Fields" feature. Show off your custom fields and tailor your view. It's like a dashboard for your unique workflow.
